PEOPLE: Let us feel the presence of the God’s grace and love!

ONE: O Holy spirit, lead us on in worship;

PEOPLE: To glorify and enjoy God forever.

ONE: Call us each by name, that we may give God glory!                       

PRAYER OF THE DAY 

God Almighty, 

You sent Jesus, our Good Shepherd, to gather us together. May we not wander from his flock, but follow wherever he leads us, listening for his voice and staying near him, until we are safely in your fold, to live with you forever; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Gracious God, from before the foundation of the world, you called us by name and pledged your steadfast love. But like ornery sheep, we stray from the fold. You offer to lead us, but we prefer to lead

ourselves. Christ laid down his life, yet we refuse to lay down our phones, our plans, our pride.

Forgive us, O God. Call us back to the open gate of Christ’s redeeming love that we may enter your Beloved Community and find restoration for our souls, reconciliation with our enemies and the glory of

abiding with you forevermore. Amen.
